Yes. Searching, listing a room and messaging are free. laba does not handle rent or deposits.

Basic means someone has confirmed their email and phone. Verified ID means they've passed a photo ID check. Verified with references means someone who knows them has also confirmed who they are.

Badges confirm identity. They are not a background or criminal record check.

To keep hosts safe, listings show only the general area. Hosts share the exact address when they're ready, for example before a viewing.

Each arrangement sets a notice period, never below the minimum we allow. Notice is given in writing through the app, with the date, and both people get a copy.

Open the arrangement and choose "Give notice". We guide you through the reason, the end date and the written notice, and explain what happens next.

Someone you trust can sit with you while you use laba, but everyone uses their own account: nobody can act in yours. For a hand, ask alba or talk to a person.

Yes. Use the language switch at the top of any page. You can also search for places by their Irish names.

Go to your account, then "Privacy and your data". You can download a copy of your data first.
